| Note : | Cortical neurons were transfected at DIV3 with a plasmid expressing GFP and globin; the neurons were then fixed 72 h later with 4% paraformaldehyde, permeabilized, blocked, and incubated over-night at 4°C with anti-GFP antibody (1:750, A11122, Life Technologies). Antibody binding was visualized using a Alexa 488-conjugated secondary antibody (1:500, Thermo). Preparations were mounted in VECTASHIELD Mounting Medium with DAPI (Vector Laboratories). |
