Note :  Hippocampal cultures were co-transfected at DIV 7 with a construct expressing mRFP under a CMV promoter and a plasmid containing mKl-IRES-GFP (VectorBuilder, VB211220-1173gzn). Hippocampal cultures were treated with 25 ng/mL of BDNF for two different durations: a 5 min treatment at DIV 11, and a 72 h treatment from DIV 11 until DIV 14.
