| Note : | Stress mice were restrained for 24 h in ventilated clear plastic tubes, without access to food and water. After restraining, they were returned to their cages. Female mice were sacrificed, starting at the same time point than males, during the first diestrus phase to avoid biased differences due to oscillating sex hormones levels. All female mice were perfused between 35 and 40 days after the restraint stress. |
