Note :  Human renal epithelial cells were isolated from urine and transfected with episomal vectors to generate induced pluripotent stem cells. These were cultivated into neuronal progenitor cells and then differentiated for 21 days into induced primary neurons. Five days after Hepatitis E virus infection, cells were fixed and stained for analysis.
