Note :  To achieve sparse labeling of a few dozens of cortical neurons, a mixture of AAV2/1-hSyn-Cre and AAV2/1-CAG-Flex-EGFP was injected. The viral mixture was delivered through an oil hydraulic micromanipulator (Narishige, MO-10, 17 nL/min for 50 nL) into ALM (AP: +2.5, ML: 1.5, DV: 0.7). Each mouse was injected unilaterally and maintained for 5 weeks to allow stable and strong expression of EGFP.
