| Note : | Guinea pigs were surgically implanted with bilateral intrahippocampal (AP-3 mm, ML +/-3 mm, DV -3.25 mm relatively to Bregma) and epidural EEG recording electrodes, as described previously. Seven days after electrode implantation, animals were injected in the dorsal cornu ammonis (CA1) of the right hippocampus with 0.9% NaCl saline (sham-operated animals; n=10) under continuous video-EEG recording. |
