Note :  During irradiation, mice were loosely restrained in Lucite containers with breathing holes (3 x 1.5 x 1.5 in.) for exposure to 30 cGy of 400 MeV/n 4 He particles (dose rate = 15-25 cGy/min). Two weeks after irradiation mice were provided with PLX5622 chow (1200 PPM). All mice were maintained on their respective PLX5622 diet from 2 weeks postirradiation through the duration of all studies.
