Bif_tilt_remote

This function returns the angle between the previous father node of the current bifurcating father and its two daughter nodes. A node is a terminating point or a bifurcation point or a root point. Smaller of the two angles is returned as the result. This angle is not computed for the root node.
Tilt is measured as outer angle between parent and child compartments. L-Measure returns smaller angle of the two children, but intuitively this can be viewed as the angle of deflection of the parent orientation compared to the orientation of the mid line of the bifurcation amplitude angle.
(i.e.) new tilt(NT) = pi - 1/2 Bif_amp_remote - old tilt(OT)
(i.e.) new tilt(NT) = pi - 1/2 Bif_amp_remote - old tilt(OT)
Function Output Type : Real
Calculated : At each bifurcation point
Returns a value : For each bifurcation
Output:
| Metric | Total_Sum | #Compartments (considered) |
#Compartments (discarded) |
Minimum | Average | Maximum | S.D. |
| Bif_tilt_remote | 11899.1 | 85 | (1017) | 72.331 | 139.99 | 170.304 | 18.7935 |
Values to consider : All
Output Interpretation :
The the Total_Sum of the Bif_tilt_remote doesn't make sense.
Total_Sum = 11899.1 gives Total_Sum, Minimum = 72.331 gives minimum, Maximum = 170.304 gives maximum for given input neuron.
