You will have to use Exception Site list feature to run the Applet application. Adding the URL: http://cng.gmu.edu:8080/Lm/Lmeasure.html to the Exception Site list allows you to run Applet application.

Steps to Add URL: http://cng.gmu.edu:8080/Lm/Lmeasure.html to the Exception Site list:

• Make sure you have a latest version of Java installed. Java version 7 Update 51 or higher.
• Go to the Java Control Panel (On Windows Click Start and then Configure Java)
• Click on the Security tab
• Click on the Edit Site List button
• Click the Add in the Exception Site List window

• Click in the empty field under Location field to enter the URL: http://cng.gmu.edu:8080/Lm/Lmeasure.html
• Click OK to save the URL that you entered.
